Obituary for Marilyn "Jeanie" Hank

Marilyn Jean “Jeanie” Hank, 74, of Aledo, passed away Thurs. Jul. 21, 2016, at Genesis West Campus, Davenport.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sat. July 30, at The Depot in Aledo. Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Aledo, is caring for the arrangements.
Online condolences may be left for the family at www.bewleyfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be directed to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Mercer County Relay for Life, or a charity of your choice.
She was born Sept. 4, 1941, in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Kenneth Louis and Laura Bernice Burk Frank.
She had retired as a dispatcher for Munson Transportation.
She loved dogs and horses. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Ponies of American and a former member of Warren County Saddle Club and the FFA Alumni Association.
Those left to cherish her memory include four sons, Monte (Brenda) Hank of Parker, KS, William “Bill” (Chris) Hank of Aledo, IL, Shaun (Connie) Hank of Dickinson, ND, and Terry (Sandy) Hank of Little York, IL; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Fridley of Farmington, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Jayden.
