Thomas J. Kellogg, 67, of Aledo, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Brookstone in Aledo.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Aledo. Private burial will be at Monmouth County Cemetery in Monmouth.

Thomas John Kellogg was born December 31, 1948, in Monmouth, IL, the son of Francis William and Cleo Fern Downer Kellogg. He married Diane Lantau on Dec. 20, 1969. They were later divorced.

He had worked in maintenance at Hawthorne Ridge and had owned Rasty’s Tap. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, socializing and genealogy.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Mark (Marcie) Kellogg of Aledo and Kim (Jeff) Harrison of Keithsburg; six grandchildren, Allie, Hannah, Bailey and Wyatt Kellogg and Kallista and Britney Harrison; and one sister Kay (Bill) Dillavou of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Neal Carson.
