Hazel Laura Danko, 87, of Muscatine, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at Trinity Muscatine Hospital with her dearest friends Rick and Louise by her side.
She was born December 29, 1923m in Letts, the daughter of Frank and Emma Lecretia Westerbrook Fry. She was a graduate of Muscatine High School. She married Steve Danko November 26, 1947, in Chicago, where she resided before moving to Muscatine in 1982.
She loved to fish and spend a lot of time at the lake. She also loved to play cards and board games. She enjoyed watching Daniel O'Donnel and listening to gospel music.
Her surviving family includes one brother, Al Fry and wife Velma of Wichita, KS; a niece, Sharon Gorman and husband Rich and their daughter Lynn of Tinley Park, IL.; son Larry Danko and wife Mary; nieces and nephews of Racine WI; loving friends Rich Carlton and Louise Land of Muscatine; Dick and Wanda of Letts, and Judy Jens of Humansville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and twelve siblings.
