Robert Maurice McCutchan, 84, of Aledo, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 26, at First Baptist Church in Aledo. Pastor Luke Dunn and Reverend Seth Bowker will co-officiate. The service will be livestreamed on the First Baptist Church of Aledo Facebook page. Burial will follow at the Hamlet Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship at the church will immediately follow the interment.
Visitation will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, at the church. Memorial may be directed to First Baptist Church of Aledo.

Robert Maurice McCutchan was born September 9, 1937, in Monmouth, IL, the son of Albert William and Bird Wiley McCutchan. He married Dylis Marie Davies on June 14, 1958, in Monmouth, IL.
Maurice attended Western Illinois University and farmed in Mercer County from 1957 until his retirement in 2014. He enjoyed square dancing and clogging.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his son, Mike (Kim) McCutchan of Aledo; daughters, Mary (Tom) Normoyle of Milan, IL and Marcia (Bob) Brinley of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Kevin (Kailyn) McCutchan, John McCutchan, Kate Roethler, Claire Roethler, Erik (Divya) Brinley and Kristin (Marc) Brinley Mitchell; great grandchildren, Chloe Brinley, Neil Brinley, Travis Mitchell, Iris Mitchell and Josephine Mitchell; and two brothers, Stephen McCutchan of St. Petersburg, FL and Thomas McCutchan of Camden, ME.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dylis, in 2014.
