Albert H. Meyer, Sr., 80, of Muscatine, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015, at his home.

Albert was born October 14, 1934 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Reginald M. and Katharine M. Schroder Meyer, Sr. He married Norma Jean Schoenig on July 7, 1957, in Muscatine.
He had served in the United States Army from 1954 to1956. He farmed and was a local contractor prior to retirement.
Those left to honor his memory include one son, Albert, Jr. (Kelly) of Muscatine; two daughters, Joyce (Dale) Hoag and Dianna (Jerry) Stammer all of Muscatine; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and sisters, Alleyne Begey, Karen Luedtke and Jacqueline Schroeder, all of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2013; brothers, R.M. Meyer, Jr. and Paul Meyer; sisters, Virginia Ellis and Marian Davis.
