Ashley Mccleary

Ashley Dawn Mc Cleary, 16, of Iowa City, formerly of Muscatine, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005, in Johnson County due to injuries received in a motor vehicle accident. She was born Nov. 2, 1988, at Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of David L. and Judy L. Shepard Mc Cleary. She was in her junior year at the Iowa City Campus of Kirkwood Community College. She was employed at Stuff Etc. 845 Pepperwood Lane in Iowa city. She loved shopping and playing softball. She had been a member of the Westside Store team when she lived in Muscatine. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, Judy Shepard and companion Jay LaRue of Iowa City; father, David Mc Cleary and fiance Wendy Freeman of Muscatine; one sister, Brooke Nicole at home; paternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Wieskamp; paternal grandfather, Robert Mc Cleary; paternal great grandmother, Lila Schmidt; maternal grandmother, Pearly Shepard; maternal grandparents, Lynn and Rita Shepard; several uncles, cousins and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, maternal great-grandparents, great-grandparents, Albert and Geraldine Mc Cleary and a great-grandfather, Robert Schmidt.
