Berton Weatherly, Jr., 74, of Keithsburg, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021, at home.

Berton was born June 13, 1946, in Herrin, IL, the son of Berton, Sr. and Lois Gaddis Weatherly. He married Linda Kathleen Elstrom on December 14, 1968, in Elgin, IL.
He had served in the United States Army as a Sergeant from 1965 to 1968.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Linda; sons, Eric (Jessica) Weatherly of Keithsburg and Scott (Beth) Weatherly of Joy; daughter, Lacey (Charles) Matkovic of Viola; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Blake, Bella, Mylee, Emma and Samara; great grandson, Mason; brother, Michael Smith of Michigan City, IN; and sisters, Karen Weatherly of Michigan City, IN and Peggy Turner of Sturtevant, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jean Ann.
