Chester D. Manary, 58, of Percy, IL died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. Services were held on December 9, 2011 in Percy.

Mr. Manary was born June 3, 1953 in Moline, IL, the son of Dale and Bernice Balmer Manary. He married Penny Brasmer June 21, 1975 in Edgington, IL.

He was a driver for Barr Trucking in Pinckneyville, IL. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cutler, IL.

Chester is survived by his wife, Penny; children, Tammy (Jason) Martin, Murphysboro, IL, Janice (Charles) Brown, Ava, IL, Anthony (Kristin) Manary, Madison, Alabama; grandchildren, Seth Brown, Ava, IL, Tori Manary, Murphysboro, IL, Justine Brown, Steeleville, IL, Whitney and Jaxon Martin, both of Murphysboro, IL; mother, Bernice Manary, Aledo, IL; brother, Russell Manary, Viola, IL; sisters, Tina Green, Arizona, Bonnie (John) Hansen, Milan, IL, Vickie (Brian) Leffler and Lisa (Chuck) Soseman, both of Aledo, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
