Donald Blandford

Donald E. Blandford, 64, of Coal Valley, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010, at his home. Private family services are planned. He was born April 2, 1946, in Yukon, Florida, the son of Eugene DuBois and Lois Jane Bailey Blandford. He married Candace E. Crumly in Minnesota in July, 1968. They were divorced. He later married LaVonne M. Weber in Rock Island in December 1981. He attended Texas A & M and had been a sales manager for ARA Services. Those left to honor his memory include daughters, Andrea J. and Kristin E. Blandford, both of New York City; brothers, Gene and John; sister Harriet Johnson, daughter-in-law, Layla Childs; and his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Jane Weber of Bettendorf.
