Edward Earl McNall

Edward E. McNall, Sr. 74, of Aledo, died Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Joliet, Illinois. Services are 10 a.m. Monday, March 17 at Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo. Visitation will be 3 - 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be given to the Edward McNall memorial fund.

Mr. McNall was born May 21, 1939 in Millersburg, Illinois, the son of Leonard Leroy and Julia Leonhart McNall. Edward married Linda Locey in Joy, Illinois on January 14, 1969. He married Dhurata Metaj in Chicago on October 28, 2004.

Edward was self-employed as an electrician. He retired from Caterpillar. Edward was in the Army serving in the Vietnam Conflict.

He enjoyed working.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Edward Earl McNall, Jr., Dixon, IL and Quincy (Carrie) McNall, Peoria, IL; grandchildren, Jonathan McNall and Matthew Fox; brothers, Ron (Jeannene) McNall and Leroy (Catherine) McNall; sisters, Dorothy Rhodes and Caroline Frymoyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, John, George, Lyle and Lewis; and 2 sisters, Eloise and Merita.
