Elvira Salazar, 66, of Muscatine died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at her home. She was born March 30, 1938, in Mexico, the daughter of Salbador Galindo and Francisca Holguin. She had previously been empolyed as a production assistant at Stauffer Seeds. She enjoyed walks along the Mississippi River. She is survived by three sons Jesse Rodriguez of Muscatine, Salvador Galindo of Chicago and Javier Galindo of Wichita, Kan.; four daughters Daana Cannady and husband Scott of Oakville, Ester Langfitt and husband Wes of Davenport, Yolanda Galindo and Bertha Galindo both of Wichita, Kan.; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
