Esther Verdi

Esther A. Verdi, 92, of Aledo, Illinois formerly of California, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Genesis Senior Living in Aledo, Illinois.
There will be no public services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services is caring for the arrangements.
Esther was born January 30, 1923, in Rowe County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hollie and Martha Wilber Lankford.
She retired in 1985, after 20 years as a licensed vocational nurse in Wichita Falls and Iowa Park, Texas.
Survivors include her children, Dominick Verdi of Seminole, Florida; Connie (John) Lacriola of Discovery Bay, California, Joanne (Orville) Revels of Aledo, Illinois and Joseph (BoPha) Verdi of Letts, Iowa; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Burrell of Iowa Park, Texas; and one brother, Glen (Pat) Lankford of Wichita Falls, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, and one stillborn son.
