Eva Schmidt

Eva L. Schmidt, 89, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City. She was born February 26, 1917, in Muscatine, the daughter of August and Faye Heitman Koepping. She married Francis Schmidt. She retired in 1982 from Rimco Sash and Door Company in Rock Island where she was a past Union President. She is survived by one sister, Donna Koepping of Muscatine, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1973, five brothers, Clarence, Harold, Howard, Lyle and William, and four sisters, Margaret Lichtenwald, Edna Mae Chismore Ysidron, Helen Nichols and Anna Edens.
