Frank Burr

Frank H. Burr, 85, of Muscatine passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.

Franklin Henry Burr was born May 1, 1938, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Albert and Wanda Loga Burr. He married Lois Acker Parchert on November 10, 1983, in Muscatine.

He had worked in maintenance at Grain Processing Corporation prior to retirement. In his free time, Frank loved exploring garage sales, collecting bicycles and toys. This hobby not only enriched his life but also brought smiles to the faces of many.

Frank leaves behind his loving wife, Lois; daughters, Diane (Doug) Fry and Debbie (Tim) Karns, all of Muscatine; step-sons, Bill (Deanna) Parchert III and Jim Parchert, all of Buffalo Prairie, IL; step-daughter, Sherri Parchert of Buffalo Prairie, IL. His legacy further lives on through his fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two brothers, Ralph Burr of Muscatine and Gerald Burr of Lone Tree, IA.; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George, Robert, Clifford and Richard "Pete"; and sister, Marian Schubich.

No public services are planned. Cremation rites have been facilitated by Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services.
