Harold Bryant

Harold E. Bryant, 86, of Joy, IL died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at his residence. Per his wishes, there are no services. Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo, assisted the family with arrangements.

Harold was born May 9, 1925 in Rock Island Township, IL, the son of Archie and Bannie Epperly Bryant. He married Martha Jane Scranton on May 25, 1947 at the Joy RLDS Church.

Mr. Bryant was a Army veteran.

Survivors (and spouse) include his daughters, Celeste (Danny) Holmes, Walcott, IA and Barbara Bryant, Clinton, IA; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and half-brother.
