Harold Troxel

Harold "JOE" Troxel, 38, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine. Memorials may be left to the Harold Troxel Memorial Fund. He was born Dec.15, 1965, at Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Darrell and Linda Diane Rock Troxel. He was a graduate of L-M High School. He was a United States Marine veteran. He was currently employed as an assembler for All Steel in Muscatine and was previously a mechanic at McKee Button Company for eleven years. He enjoyed sports, particularly the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Cubs and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He loved to build and work on trucks and to take care of his dog Buddy. Joe's final act was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation so that others may live longer and improved lives. He is survived by his father, Darrell Troxel of Muscatine; one brother, Allen Troxel of Muscatine; one sister, Stacy Ridenour of Muscatine; one niece, Jessika Ridenour; one nephew, Brandon Ridenour; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a cherished friend, Lon Morgan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda D. (Rock) Troxel on June 1, 2004; his maternal and paternal grandparents; several uncles and one aunt.
