Ila Mae Riddell, 95, of Aledo, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Genesis Senior Living in Aledo.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 3, at Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Aledo. Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Friday, at the funeral home. Memorial s may be made to the Ila M. Riddell Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be left for the family at www. bewleyfuneralhome.com.
She was born February 5, 1919 the daughter of John Carl and Lula Mae Miller Armstrong. She married Raymond W. “Runt” Riddell on March 14, 1939 in Aledo, Illinois.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Those left to honor her memory include three sons, Richard (Solveig) Riddell of Moline, IL, Jim (Linda) Riddell of Aledo, IL and Terry (Rebecca) Riddell of Alexis IL; grandchildren, Victoria Noonan, Julie Holliday, Timothy Riddell, Travis Riddell and Troy Riddell, Julie Pelloux, John Krahl and Jennifer Zimmerman; great grandchildren, Bryan, Geoffrey, Kyle, Kelsey, Vanessa, Lucie, Sylvia, Dylane, Austin, Lauren, Jordan and Christie, Brittany, Brooke, Kaley, Sidney and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and four sisters.
