Janet Lee Stalkfleet, 80, of Nichols, Iowa, died Monday morning, March 23, 2015, at her home.
The daughter of Albert Van Dyke and Evelyn (Dolly) Koepping Van Dyke was born May 24, 1934, in Muscatine, Iowa.
She married Frank Junior Stalkfleet on October 14, 1950 at the Methodist Church in Keswick, Iowa. She attended the Church of God Seventh Day in Cedar Rapids, Ia.
She enjoyed raising her farm family and was especially fond of her grandchildren. She loved music, whether dancing or singing, walking and tending her flowers around the farm. Her great smile will be missed.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Jeffrey (Rendy) Stalkfleet, Wesley (Barbara) Stalkfleet; three daughters, Cinda (Daniel) Dallege, Terri (Lyle) Perry, and Lori Stalkfleet; fourteen grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; four sisters, Arlene (Dave) Pech of Fairfield, Ia., Kathryn Kruse, Wilma (Danny) Keller, and Marsha Wilson, all of Muscatine; two brothers, Ralph (Pat) Van Dyke and Scott Van Dyke, both of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank, and one brother, Roy A. Van Dyke.
There will be a celebration of life in her honor at Rendezvous, 3127 Lucas Street, Muscatine, Ia. on Sunday, March 29, 2015. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with services starting at 3:00 p.m. Food and fellowship will follow the service.
