Jeffrey Alan Paul

Jeffrey Paul, 48, of New Boston, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Trinity Rock Island.

A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Nichols Bewley Funeral and Memorial Services, Aledo. A celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Fish Fry Park in New Boston. Private interment will be at a later date.

He was born June 22, 1970, in Harvard, IL, the son of Barry and Linda Nelson and Leland Paul. He married Jamie Nelson-Russell on June 30, 1989, Muscatine, IA.

He had worked as a construction foreman for Local Union #309. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

He was a loving father and grandfather and adored his family.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Jamie; six sons, Jayson, Jeffrey (Kelsey), Zane, Kenny, Rian, and Erik; three daughters, Jayde (Jeff), Destini, and Sereniti; grandchildren, Zalie, Carter, Makayla, Paxton, and Jaycob; his fathers, Barry Nelson and Leland Paul; brothers, Mike (Aurora) and William; sisters, Linda (Kevin), Tonya, Kim (Matt), and Jenna (Gorje); many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Grandma Marge Pestle, Grandpa and Grandma Paul, and three uncles, Pat, Tom and Mike.
