Joanne Martha Miller

Joanne M. Miller, 72, of Rock Island died Monday, January 14, 2013 at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria, IL. Services are 1:00 pm Thursday at Bewley Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aledo. Visitation is noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Little York Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Joanne Miller memorial fund.

Joanne was born April 7, 1940 in Aledo, the daughter of Charles and Mary Ruth Little Miller.

She retired as a pre-school teacher. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She enjoyed knitting and spoiling her grandkids.

Survivors include her father, Charles, Taylor Ridge, IL; son, John (Julie), Peoria; brother, Keith (Barb) Miller, Keithsburg; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother.
