Karen “Kay” J. Kallenberger, 74, of Muscatine, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Pearl Valley Care Center in Muscatine.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, at New Hope United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, at the church. Nichols Life Tribute Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Karen’s family and arrangements.

She was born June 14, 1942, in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Raymond L. and Genevieve E. Martin Kallenberger.
She enjoyed playing the organ, knitting, sewing and exercising.
Those left to honor her memory include her brothers, Don (Pat) Kallenberger of Placerville, CA and Duane “Bob” (Rose) Kallenberger of Muscatine; sisters, Verlee Koch and Sandra (Rick) Adams, all of Muscatine; six nieces, three nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Raymond, two nephews and one niece.
