Kirk Irwin Chatfield

Kirk I. Chatfield, 59, of Muscatine, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, at Wesley United Methodist Church.

Kirk was born June 1, 1956, in Muscatine, the son of Rolland Frederick and Elaine Frances Troxel Chatfield. He married Dorene Offill on September 24, 1982.

He had worked for Heinz and Starkist. He was a former member of the Ham Radio Club.

Those left to honor her memory include, his wife, Dorene; brother, John (Mary) Ferrell of Minnesota; sisters; Ellyn (Marvin) Kerschenske and Rebecca (Jim) Phillips of Muscatine and Amanda (Paul) Dacy of Grandview, Debra Simpson of Mason City and Brenda Ferrell of Stan Hope.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elaine Ferrell, his father Rolland Chatfield, brother, Earl Victor and sister, Kim Chatfield.
