Lawrence Sweet

Lawrence J. Sweet, 71, of East Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Green Valley Hospital, Green Valley, AZ.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Fri., Apr. 22, at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. The procession will line up at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Moline Radisson Hotel. Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Aledo, is caring for the arrangements.

Lawrence was born June 7, 1944, in Moline, IL. He was a United States Air Force veteran having served from 1965 to 1971. He had worked as a computer programmer for John Deere.

Those left to honor his memory include, his daughter, Laurie (Michael) Weese of Aledo; grandchildren, Jack, Addison and Norah Weese; brothers, Dave and Robert Sweet both of Green Valley, AZ; and sisters, Donna Scoville and Judy Long both of Green Valley, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Shirley Duncan
