Lori Jean Buster

Lori Buster, 60, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Private family graveside services are planned. Burial will be at Illinois City Cemetery. Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Lori's family and arrangements.

Lori Jean Martin was born August 19, 1961, in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Clifford A. and Janet Cooney Martin. She had previously worked as a cook at Grandview Corners and Red Wagon Day Care. She was also a caregiver to her father, Cliff Martin, until his passing in 2018.

Lori loved dogs, hunting, fishing, making people laugh, and was a John Wayne fanatic. Lori was also an organ & tissue donor.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her sister, Trina (Jim) Curtis; brother, Sid (Lori) Martin; several nieces, whom she thought of as 'her girls', Janelle (Travis) Wendt and their children, Jocelyn and Carson Wendt, Sara (Brad Utter) Martin and Becky Curtis and her children, Cooper Sulzberger and Ursula Kneer; and a great-nephew, Cayden Krueger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dale Martin; and nephew, Brian Curtis in 2019.
