Lynn Marie Mccalmon

Lynn McCalmon, 66, of Muscatine, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus, Muscatine.

She was born July 7, 1952, in Decorah, IA, the daughter of Raphael and Esther Rose Uhlenhake Moellers. She married Jack Edward McCalmon October 6, 1984, at Wild Cat Den in Muscatine County. She had worked as a caretaker at Crossroads of Muscatine.

Lynn fought a long hard battle with cancer. She enjoyed crafts and candle making. She took many adventures with her grandson, Jackson, whom she had a special bond. She loved all of her grandkids and will be missed by her friends and family.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include son, Josh (Rebecca) McCalmon of Oregon; daughter, Savanna (Devin) Haney of Iowa, step-daughter, Vickie McCalmon of California; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, one brother, Loyal (Catherin) Moellers; three sisters, Waneta (Rodger) Montgomery, Renee (Scott) Elliot and Myra DeWulf; one step-sister, Louann (Joe) Bryant; and one step-brother, Wayne (Julie) Stuart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, mother and step-father, Esther and Glen Stuart, step-son Jack McCalmon, Jr., one granddaughter, Brittany McCalmon, her father, Raphael Moellers, and her first husband, Jim Middleton.
