Madonna Lorraine Young

Madonna L. Young, 88, of Muscatine, passed away Friday, Apr. 13, 2012 at Trinity Hospital in Muscatine. A memorial visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Apr. 27, at Jeffrey S. Nichols/Life Tribute Funeral and Memorial Services, Muscatine. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the Madonna Young Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be left for Madonna’s family at www.lifetributeservices.com . She was born Aril 8, 1924, in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Frederick and Elsie Height. She retired in 1986 as an assembler at the Hon Company Geneva Plant. She loved spending time caring for her family and enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre. She was a past member of Ladies of the Moose and the Eagle’s Club. She is survived by daughters, Pam (Gary) Lane, Pat Sander, Barb Young and Linda (Mike) Johnson all of Muscatine; son, Michael Young of Muscatine; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one sister, Marge Pfeiffer of Upland, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Florence Patterson.
