Marie Montz, 98, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at the Muscatine Care Center. A committal prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, at Greenwood Cemetery. She was born June 1, 1906, at Muscatine. She was most recently a homemaker and had worked as a button sorter. She leaves no surviving relatives. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer Beitz and Jesse Montz and two sons, Norman Beitz and Myles R. Beitz on March 24, 2004.
