Mary R. Gould

Mary R. Gould, 73, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Heartland Health Care Center in Moline.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. Nichols Life Tribute Funeral and Memorial Services, Muscatine, is caring for Mary and her family.

Mary was born August 18, 1942, in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Junior and Mary Katherine Sojat Kuntzi.

She had worked for Air Host at the Quad Cities International Airport in Moline, retiring in 2014.

A true flower child at heart, our mom, sister, grandmother, and aunt, was the most sweetest and loving person ever. She was our inspiration to look at the brighter side of life. Her passion were her children and grandchildren. You could always find her looking for hidden treasures in thrift stores. She will live in our hearts forever.

Those left to honor her memory include daughters, Tami Lynn (Danny) Arteaga and Desa Raye Johnson, both of Cape Coral, Florida; grandchildren, Travis Johnson, Tasha Arteaga and Calvin Kujath; great grandchildren, Canaan Head, Mya Kujath and Logan Jackson; brothers, Tom (Sarah) Kuntzi, Dennis Kuntzi, Mike (Sherry) Kuntzi, Chuck (Nancy) Kuntzi and Jim (Donna) Kuntzi; sisters, Carol (Henry) Amfahr, Kathy Gregory, Charla (Jerry) Sheridan, Sue Ray and Deb (Paul Magnuson) Kuntzi.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marsha Kuntzi.
