Maxine King

Maxine Eanes-King, 72, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010, at Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Maxine was born December 2, 1937, to the union of Jim and Cora Eanes in Ulna, Illinois. There were 13 children born in this union. She was married to Lloyd King. Her parents, all siblings and her husband preceded her in death. Maxine was a very friendly and outgoing person. She loved to be around people. She leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Linda King of Silvis and Vickie Eanes-Rainey of St. Louis, Missouri; one son, James King of Rock Island; grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Martez and Logan; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bertha Eanes, Elizabeth Jackson and Minnie Jackson; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends; special friends Janet Lee, Erma Jeffries and Shirley Gay.
