Mildred Anderson

Mildred Lucille "Mickey" Anderson, 76, of Muscatine, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005, at the Muscatine Care Center. There will be no public visitation or services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. She was born January 23, 1929, at Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Carl Walter and Carrie Augusta Anderson. She was a graduate of Bradley University. She married Ronald Ulysses Anderson on April 9, 1950, at Peoria, IL. She had been employed as a legal secretary and most recently as an accountant for Barrington Estates. She is survived by one son, Paul Anderson and wife Heidi of Muscatine; two daughters, Holly Best and friend Craig Plowman, and Janet Hazen and husband Mike all of Muscatine; grandchildren, Amy and Jeremy Brand, Andrew Anderson, Kelly Best, and Michelle and Robert Stroda; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Alexa Stroda and Josh Hazen; and one brother, Walter Anderson of Downers Grove, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1997 and one grandson, Dan Best.
