Murry Albert Wright

Murry A. Wright, Jr., 58, of Muscatine, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites are being accorded in the care of Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services.

He was born November 6, 1961, in Muscatine, the son of Murry Albert Sr. and Donna Jean Wheeler Wright. He married Michelle F. Workman on May 14, 1982 in Muscatine.

Murry had worked as a fork lift operator for Doanes Pet Care and as a Stamp Maker for Young Brothers.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Michelle; son, Shane (Lisa) Wright of Coal Valley, IL; daughters, Heather (Ryan) Johns of Muscatine and Cara (Brad) DeVore of Wilton; grandchildren, Cambree Dohrmann, Tinleigh Johns, Ethan Johns, Garrett DeVore, Isabelle Wright and Damian Nickell; brothers, Todd Shoppa, Tyler Shoppa, Tim (Laura) Wright, James Shoppa, Jr., Murry (Jessica) Wright III; and sisters, Regina (Rick) Mizaur, Gayla Wright, Brandy Shoppa, Tonya (Dave) Steckman, and Paula (Chuck) Sorrowfree.

He was preceded in death by is father, Murry A. Wright, Sr., his mother, Donna J. Wheeler-Shoppa, and his maternal grandparents, Everrett and Leddie Wheeler.
