Nancee J. Bean

Nancee Joanne Bean, 75, of Muscatine, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011, at her daughter’s home in Moline.

A memorial reception and luncheon will be held 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at the Moose Lodge. Jeffrey S. Nichols – Life Tribute Funeral and Cremation Services, Muscatine is assisting the family with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Muscatine Humane Society.

She was born Feb. 25, 1936, in Muscatine, the daughter of Dale and June Koepping Martin. She graduated from Conesville High School in 1953. She married Danny Lee Bean, Sr. in Muscatine in 1979. She worked at the Department of Human Services for many years and was most recently a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Danny, Sr.; daughters, Dena Hayes of Rock Island, Karen (James) Manning of Moline and Alicia (Mat) Dusenberry of Wilton; step-children, Belinda (Tom) Howland, Danny, Jr. (Sandy) Bean, Bob Bean, Bruce (Shelly) Bean and Norman Bean, all of Muscatine; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her mother June Martin of Muscatine; brother, Larry Martin and sister, Linda Burkamper both of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her father.
