Pat King, 72, of New Boston, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013, at home.
Graveside services will be 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, at the New Boston Cemetery. Burial will be in the New Boston Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to Noon Wednesday, at Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services – Joy Chapel, 200 East Main St., Joy, IL.

She was born September 20, 1941, at Milan (Big Island), Illinois, the daughter of Harvey and Doris Robinson Snyder. She married Harlan King on September 12, 1959, in New Boston.
She had been employed at Casey’s and was most recently a homemaker.
She enjoyed softball, the New Boston Sandburrs, bowling with leagues in Aledo and Muscatine, crossword puzzles and trivia. She would have liked to gone to school to be a history teacher.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Harlan; children, Sherry (Bill) White of Bellvue, Ia, Mary (Randy) Duncan of New Boston, Sandy Carle and Doug Dyer of New Boston, and Sam (Angie) King of New Boston; grandchildren, Mitch King, Carl Duncan, B.J. White, Matt Duncan, Adam Carle, Holly White, Emily Carle, Dan Duncan, Cassie White, Derek King and Caleb King; great-grandchildren Brice, Trevor, Lilly, Kylee, Madisen, Abram, Tori and Adelyn; brothers, Fred (Phyllis) Snyder of Illinois City, Don Snyder of Erie, IL and Bob Snyder; and a special neighbor, Rick.
She was preceded by parents, grandparents, a daughter, Lori Sue King, two sisters, and three brothers.
