Patricia Ann Pestle

Patricia A. Pestle, 71, Aledo, passed away July 4, 2014 at home.

Per her request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Aledo, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.bewleyfuneralhome.com.

Patricia was born October 17, 1942 at Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Elza Jr., and Delores Weckel Mosher. She married Millard D. Pestle on October 31, 1992, at Oquawka, IL.

She retired as a Librarian at the Mercer County Library in 2005. She had also worked for the former Georgetown Nursing Home and the Coalition for Battered Women. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Laurie) Hockenberry of Iowa, Mark (Crystal) Hockenberry of Seaton, Kevin (Jennifer Shaw) Hockenberry of Keithsburg, and Christopher (Heidi) Mills of Aledo; daughters, Jody (Dick) Tejano of Aledo, Lynda (Scott) Shute of Florida, and Karla (David Pullen) Hockenberry ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Steven (Jerri) Deneckere of Rock Island; sisters, Catherine (Steve) Simms of Missouri, and Carol (Jim) Manley of Moline, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
