Phillip Lee Danielson, 70, of Muscatine, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
He was born June 12, 1940, in Burlington, the son of Irvin and Ruth Pounder Danielson. He married Audrey J. Shoemaker on Oct. 21, 1969, in Monmouth, IL.
He retired from the maintenance department at Hon Oak Steel.
He was a taxidermist and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
Those left to honor his memory includes his wife, Audrey; sons, Steven Howerton of Davenport, Phillip Lee "Phil" Danielson, Jr. of Ft. Madison and Thomas Larry Howerton of Muscatine; daughters Patricia Marlene Whitmer of Muscatine, Diana Lee Bixby of Madison Wisconsin, Leah Lynn Mansheim of Nito, Illinois, Shela Kay Howerton of Muscatine and Leann Jane Danielson of Muscatine and Deann Jean Ganzley of Muscatine; 21 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Martha), Denny, Rick (Robin), Pete (Cindy); sisters, Lynn Tobias and Rhonda Chrisman; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Larry and Lanny and a sister Judy, in infancy.
