Randell James Brewer

Randell J. "Randy" Brewer, 60, of Muscatine, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Cremation rites are being accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Randy's family and arrangements.

Randell James Brewer was born May 4, 1961, in Muscatine, the son of Ralph J. and Cintra V. Whitehall Brewer. He married Bobbie Jo Bergheger on September 16,1995, in Muscatine.

He was a graduate of L&M High School. He worked for many years, with his father, Ralph, as a flooring installer and continued following his father's retirement.

Randy was a member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandkids.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his wife, Bobbie; daughters, Cathrina Brewer of Muscatine, Sami Brewer of Muscatine and Randie Loving of Davenport; six grandchildren; his father and step-mother, Ralph and Mary Jo Brewer of Muscatine; one brother, Archie (Summer) Brewer of Marion, IA; and sisters, Teresa (Jack) Chatfield of Muscatine, Loretta Brewer of Wilton, and Lynlea (Jeremy) Johnson of Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Larry Brewer; and sister, Crystal Brewer.
