Robert Beam

Robert L. Beam, 61, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at his home. He was born December 24, 1945, at Spruce Pine, N.C., the son of Leslie Robert and Jody Benfield Beam. He married Terri Yocom on June 18, 2005 in Muscatine. He was a handyman and had previously worked as a Mold Technician at Letica. He loved to fish on from the Muscatine riverfront. His favorite hangout was The Bullpen. He is survived by his wife; sons, Curtis of Lime Springs and Dale; daughter, Margaret of Prophetstown, IL.; stepson John Brockert of Muscatine; stepdaughter, Annissa Swenson of Muscatine; brother, Carver Beam of Kewanee, Ill.; sisters, Peggy Luffman of Elkin, N.C., Linda Jacobson of Sun City, AZ., and Betty Gish of Kewanee, IL.; and many grandchildren.
