Robert James

Robert L. James, 71, of Muscatine, IA, died December 8, 2005, at his home after a brief battle with cancer. As per his wishes, no memorial service or visitation will be held. Robert has donated his body to the University of Iowa College of Medicine Deeded Body Program. Robert was born on January 14, 1934, in Louisa County, the son of Lee B. and Florence Saultz James. He married Ruth A. Kile on September 26, 1954. Robert served in the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division from 1956-1958. He worked in various accounting and sales positions. Survivors include one son, Randall James and his wife Kimberly; on sister Phyllis Thorpe and her husband Jack; and two brothers, Bill James and Kenneth Sayers and his wife Glaytha, all of Muscatine.
