Robert E. Nichols, 80, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, at the Island United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Bob was born June 24, 1939, in Muscatine, IA, the son of Earl O. and Helen E. Koepping Nichols. He married Roxie R. Boyd on June 15, 1957, in Muscatine, Iowa.
He was a welder at HON for many years - retiring in 1994.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his son, Rich Nichols of Muscatine; daughter, Lynn (Phil) Adams of Culleoka, TN; grandchildren, Travis Nichols, Amanda Daniels, Sean Adams, Zack Adams, Jessica Adams and Cody Adams; great grandchildren, Landon, Alexis, Gauge, Karly, Karson, Isobel, Chandler and Thomas; his brother, Ron (Joyce) Nichols of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Roxie on September 26, 2019.
