Shannon M. Miller, 44, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport, IA.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 9th at the Mercer County VFW Post No. 1571 - Lower Level. Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Shannon’s family and arrangements.

Shannon Marie Fordyce was born July 5, 1980, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Randall and Patricia K. Hepner Fordyce. She married Russell Lloyd Miller on Nov. 3, 2000, in New Boston, IL. He preceded her in death.
She loved dolphins and enjoyed collecting dolphin figurines.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her son, Jeremiah Miller of Viola, IL; step-children, Stephanie Kay (Zachary) Snider of East Moline, Misty Dawn Miller of Tennessee, Keith Allen Miller of Arkansas, Christina Louise McNitt of Missouri, and Charity Marie Curry of Missouri; eleven step-grandchildren; eleven step-great grandchildren; brother, Justin Whipple of Rock Island, IL; sisters, Mary E. Jacobs of Viola and Reannon Fordyce of South Carolina; and her fiancé, Don Baylor of Muscatine, IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, sister, Amber Whipple, and step-sister Teresa Canfield.
