Steven Ray Young, 55, of Coralville, died suddenly Feb. 5, 2012, at his home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thurs. April 19, at Muscatine Memorial Park. Jeffrey S. Nichols/Life Tribute Funeral and Memorial Services, Muscatine, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Steven grew up in Muscatine. He graduated from Muscatine High School and earned his Batchelors degree. Many will remember him as an avid chess player, tutor and tournament director across Iowa. His close friends at Old Chicago will miss his astounding knowledge of Trivia. Those close to him will hold fond memories of his unique sense of humor and love of life.
He is survived by three sisters, Pam Lane and her husband Gary, Pat Sander and Barb Young, and one brother Mike Young, all of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews.
