Virginia L. Cooke, 74, of Davenport, IA, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport.

She was born May 23, 1944, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Virgil Loren and Merle Ferne Cooper Baker.
She met her life partner, Edward D. Barnes, Sr. in 1984. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2018.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina (Dan) Baker of Milan, IL; sons, Loren Cooke of Davenport, IA and John (Tara) Cooke of Ironwood, MI; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Virgil and Duane Baker; and one son, Paul C. Cooke, II.
