Bill Robinson

William L. Robinson, 86, of New Boston, passes away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his home in New Boston.

William Lee Robinson was born June 1, 1937, in Powell, WY, the son of Lawrence Hahn and Cecil Elma Bogart Robinson.

Bill had worked for John Deere prior to his retirement. He was a past member of Masonic Lodge No. 59 New Boston, IL., Scottish Rite Bodies In The Valley of Moline, Eastern Star Rose Chapter No. 626 O.E.S. in Silvis, IL, Local 434 UAW and Boston Bay Conservation Club.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, antique tractors, Blue Grass music and his grandchildren.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Sam Lilly of New Boston, IL; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Robinson of Pasco, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Mae Robinson; son, Leroy Robinson; daughter, Vicki Hollander; brothers, James Hahn, Elden Robinson, Daryl Robinson an Gene Robinson; one sister, Elois Robinson; half-brother, Stanley Hahn; half-sister, Margret McGinnis; and one grandson, Mike Robinson.

Cremation rites have been facilitated by Nichols Bewley Funeral and Cremation Services. No public services are planned.
