We surveyed funeral homes in our area and found that families who choose Nichols Bewley save hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
In January 2026, pricing surveys were conducted of area funeral homes. In order to compare 'apples-to-apples', prices were requested for both direct cremation and traditional burial services utilizing individual line items from each funeral home's General Price List. The prices shown do not include a casket, burial vault, urn, memorial stationery or third party charges. Providers may change their prices without notice and may offer discounts when you purchase specific merchandise, package discounts, or savings when you pay within specific payment terms. The prices shown are accurate as of the date of the survey.
A Note About Comparisons if Price is Important to You
The following is an itemized breakdown of service and merchandise prices from area funeral homes. It is important to understand the only meaningful price comparison is the bottom line, i.e. Service + Casket + Vault + Third-Party Fees. Our service fees are not the lowest, nor the highest, but we do not rely on high mark-ups on merchandise like other funeral homes. In most cases the bottom line difference is hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars less at Nichols Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
