Full-Circle Aftercare
What does Full-Circle Aftercare do for families?
We provide personalized service-based Aftercare support to help survivors manage the practical, non-legal, and financial tasks that follow a death. Our services are delivered through scheduled phone appointments with our trained Estate Specialists who offer one-on-one guidance, task completion, and follow-up.
GOVERNMENT BENEFITS REVIEW
We review potential eligibility for:
- Surviving spouse or dependent Social Security benefits
- VA survivor or burial benefits
- Medicaid long-term care planning for a surviving spouse
- State-specific assistance programs (when applicable)
We ensure families understand what to expect and how to apply, and we refer them to qualified experts for applications when needed.
NOTIFICATION SUPPORT
We identify and notify third parties, including:
- Social Security
- Insurance companies (life, health, auto, etc.)
- Creditors (e.g. credit cards, loans, and service providers)
- Financial institutions (we provide education on how and when to notify banks)
- Retirement and investment accounts
- Employers and pension providers
- Utility companies and subscription services
We ensure that notifications are completed correctly and documented for the family's records.
ESTATE AND PROBATE GUIDANCE
While we do not provide legal or financial advice, we help families understand:
- Whether probate may be required
- The difference between wills, trusts, and intestate succession
- When and how to connect with a probate attorney, if needed
If probate or legal documents are necessary, we refer the family to trusted professionals.
SURVIVOR ESTATE PLANNING
We encourage surviving family members to review their own plans and provide educational resources and referrals for:
- Wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Pre-need funeral or cremation planning
- Beneficiary updates on financial accounts
FRAUD PROTECTION
We help families reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud by:
- Notifying credit reporting agencies
- Requesting death flags on the decedent's credit file
- Assisting with opt-out of pre-approved credit offers
- Reviewing and closing vulnerable accounts
GRIEF RESOURCES
We provide grief support materials and direct families to local or national grief counseling resources when needed.
PROFESSIONAL RESOURCES
We provide resources to professional services (attorneys, financial advisors, realtors), when needed.
